For use in the bottom of incense burners or cauldrons to add an extra layer of heat absorption when burning herbs or resin on charcoal, this will stop the bowl overheating. It will also collect fallen ash.
Can be reused until ash overwhelms the sand!
Black sand is also great for adding to spell bottles for protection or using in banishing spells. Also great to add in some volcanic energy to spells.
