Safety Advice

• Never leave lit candles or incense unattended.
• Always use a suitable holder or a burner. I recommend using a layer of sand or soil in the bottom of charcoal burners for extra protection.
• Burners and holders should always be put on a flat, non-flammable and heatproof surface and away from windows or draughts
• Keep candles and incense out of reach of children and pets.
• As with cooking, keep your clothing and hair out of the way of the flames.
• Incense can be extinguished early by placing the lit end in cold water.

Essential Oils

 Never apply directly to the skin, always use a carrier oil. 

Do not ingest oils

Pregnant women should always check with their midwife before using oils as some can bring on labour.

If using in an oil burner, always put water in the burner first and add a little oil - you should only need a few drops
